Congratulations to the lucky ticket-winning Chapter members & their guests who attended this past Saturday's screening of "Casablanca" with live accompaniment from the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra in Symphony Hall at the Woodruff Arts Center in Midtown. They also enjoyed a 1940's themed pre-reception with full bar & hors d'oeuvres, courtesy our friends at TCM & WarnerMedia. Many thanks to Yacov Freedman for securing this opportunity for us! And thanks as well to the members who have graciously shared their evening with us here!
Charlotte tagged our Instagram with these shots - all set for a big night! Be sure & follow her on IG @the_peachy_queen (and US @TCMBacklotATL)!
Thanks to Cecelia for sending these additional photos of the reception where she, Von, Deb & Wayne got to share some laughs with their cocktails! Speaking of Wayne, the man's lucky streak continued as he won a raffle prize of TCM swag AND a smooch from Cecelia for giving her the hat!
Also enjoying the interactive photo backdrop were James & his wife Kim before snapping this view of the entire stage. And thanks to Sue for providing a beautiful shot of the stage! Here's looking at you, kids!!!
Everybody, check out this response to the post about this event on our Instagram!!!!!!
Since we had just recently seen Casablanca at The Strand on the Marietta Square, we decided not to attend this event. Now, I wish we had gone as it looks like y'all had a funtabulous evening!!
